IBSAT Merit Scholarships
IBSAT Merit Scholarships of up to Rs.2 Lakhs in the form of concession in tuition fee are offered to top 200 candidates on the basis of IBSAT or GMAT® Scores (above 600).

Merit-cum-means Scholarships
IBS offers 220 merit cum means scholarships (10 per each campus) in the form of concession in tuition fee up to Rs.2 Lakhs.

Campus Merit Scholarships

IBS offers Campus Merit Scholarships up to 50% of tuition fee to 25% of students at each campus based on the academic performance in semesters.

This is in addition to the IBSAT Merit Scholarship or Merit-cum-means Scholarship.

arrow Loan Scholarships

IBS offers 2000 need-based loan scholarships up to Rs.2 Lakhs. Students can apply for loan scholarships at the end of the first academic year by around March 31, 2010.
arrow Student Assistantships

Assistantships are provided to need-based students at IBS Campuses. Students are required to work with IBS in the library, computer lab or assist faculty in research.

The details regarding all the scholarships will be provided in the Student Handbook.

arrow Stipendiary Assignment Program

The Stipendiary Assignment Program is designed for the students of IBS allowing them to obtain practical work exposure while studying at IBS. Stipendiary Assignment Program is a voluntary program and offers a regular monthly stipend and attractive performance-based incentives, apart from practical work exposure and skill development opportunities.
Bank Loans
State Bank of India, Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Maharashtra, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, HDFC Bank and other national banks provide educational loans to the candidates selected for the Programs conducted by IBS. IBS has signed MOU with Andhra Bank and HDFC Bank for providing educational loans to its students. The corporate offices of State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank and Punjab National Bank have issued circulars to all its branches approving the programs of IBS for extending educational loans. The students are required to avail the loan at the place of their domicile. During the selection process the banks will be putting up the stalls at selection process venue and issue in-principle sanction letters to enable the students to obtain the educational loans at their place of domicile. The repayment of the loan starts from 6 months after securing a job or 1 year after completion of the program whichever is earlier.
Jurisdiction
Jurisdiction for all disputes (if any) relating to IBSAT 2008 is only / exclusively Hyderabad, India.
Strict Ban Against Canvassing / Recommendations

All admissions are strictly based on merit.  There is no NRI quota or management quota or any other quota.  Hence, the candidates and their parents are strictly advised not to resort to any canvassing, directly or indirectly, to support their applications.  Canvassing in any form is strictly prohibited and will be considered as a serious disqualification.

IMPORTANT
New Features

All applicants are advised to carefully note the new features introduced in Admission 2009 for the first time.

Generally Essay (along with IBSAT at Test Centers).  Applicants with GMAT Scores will be required to write General Essay on the Interview Day at Hyderabad.

General Knowledge Test (on the Interview Day at Hyderabad)

IBSAT 2008 will be for 2 hours duration only.  Immediately following IBSAT will be General Essay for 30 minutes.  The weightages for each component of the evaluation are indicated.
